Honors Awards:

2003 Steeples Award for Service to Kansans
2003 - 2004 Kemper Award for Teachng Excellence
1997 Department Undergraduate Teaching Award
2000-2001 CTE Excellence in Teaching Award, chosen by the Graduate students in Physics & Astronomy

Research Interests:

My research interest is in experimental particle physics (also known as high energy physics). I am a member of the D0 and CMS collaborations. With D0 I am searching for electroweak production of the top quark. With CMS I am helping to build the central silicon microstrip tracker. Go to: http://heplx3.phsx.ku.edu/~hep/index.html for the home page of the experimental high energy physics group at the University of Kansas. For links to the collaboration web sites and other high energy physics links go to: http://heplx3.phsx.ku.edu/~hep/hepsites.html
