Item: Design and construction of the mount and drive system of the 1m telescope, as well as complete automation of the telescope, telescope dome and instrumentation as per attached specifications. Bids must include on-site delivery and installation.  Research telescope to be located on Mt. Laguna outside of San Diego, California.

1.        In communicating, please refer to the R.F.Q. Number.

2.        To receive consideration, the quotation must be signed by an authorized representative of the seller.

3.        All prices and conditions must be shown, including F.O.B. location, on-site installation, payment terms, delivery date, and shipping cost.  Additions or conditions not shown on the quotation will not be allowed. A detailed budget for the items/features specified in the bid specifications.

4.        A timeline for completion of each phase of the project starting from the date of acceptance of the contract.

5.        A list of three or more recent customers who may be contacted about your work for them.

6.        Name, phone number and email address of an individual to contact if additional information is required regarding the bid.

7.        Contracts or purchase orders resulting from this RFQ may not be assigned without prior written consent of the University of  Kansas Center for Research, Inc.

8.        The seller agrees to protect the purchaser from all damages arising out of alleged infringements of patents.

9.        Unless otherwise specified, the right is reserved to accept or reject all or any part of your quotation.

10.          Discount periods begin on date of delivery and acceptance, or receipt of proper invoice by the University of Kansas Center for Research, Inc., whichever is later.  Discounts offered will be considered in determining the low bid.

11 .        All prices quoted are to be in U.S. Dollars excluding Federal Excise Tax and State Sales Tax.

12 .        If given an order, bidder agrees to furnish the items listed herein at the price(s) quoted and under the conditions indicated.
